SHF Another Agito
SHF (or SHFiguarts) is one of figure line that simply catches
my attention. Being successfully designed to replicate humans body movement has
made this figure line to be a must have for any one who collect action figure,
although I was not really sure what SH stands for ( some says “souchaku hensin”
the other says “simple heroes” , which I don’t think they all connected at all :).
I do not know much about Another Agito because I do not
watch the whole season of kamen rider Agito. I think he is a bad rider who
turns out to be good (or the opposite?) and than simply die. He just a side
character I guess.
The looks
Despite of his (I guess again) minor role in the Agito story;
Another Agito was really lucky because he got a bad ass design. Better than
agito I think. His design was so devilish and made him looks more like an SIC
which more suitable for grown up taste rather than usual SHF.
Details and paint job for this figure are great. I also like how they make the eyes. It is red transparent compound with texture inside which make it looks like a real nasty bug eye. He is one of those figure that looks great for just standing straight in his normal position.

Articulation
Another Agito has what I called standard articulation for
SHF. It’s a good start if you want to know what you will get for buying an SH Figurise.
Head and Neck
Head is connected to neck at a ball hinge. Its attached very
secure, which might give a bit disadvantage just because he has an alternative
head and the ball peg just too small I think.
I wasn’t saying that it will broke, just an advice to be careful on it.
I do not know how the neck connected to the shoulder, since it too stiff to pull off, my guess it’s also a ball hinge or double ball peg because it has similar range of movement like the head (rotation, side-side).
Over all, great articulation without noticeable hinder.

Arms and shoulder
Shoulders are connected to upper body at a ball hinge. Now,
good thing about SHF is that its shoulder connection area are wide which add good range of motion for ball joint movement. A moveable cover is
placed to lessen gap area created by this configuration.
Shoulder armor clip on at upper arm. Mine has already bit loose, but still clip on decently. Biceps has a pivot rotation movement and elbow using double joint. Hands connected at wrist arm using Ball Hinge. I felt a bit hard to swap alternative hand at his ball joint, and I'm not sure why. But, they stay nice and secure. His arm spike is made of soft material and do not have articulation.

Body
Main body constructed using three parts, chest, abs and hip.
I do not know how they connected; my guess is they all connected using ball
joints. Both chest and abs could perform rotation, up-down, side to side
movement very well. The belt is
separated part so it could do some movement.
Legs and feet
Thigh connected at hip using double ball joint connected at a hinge. SHF is actually the first line which I found
using this type of connection. This
connection could somehow act like a swivel which gives him the ability to
split, although another agito suffer a bit hinder due to his muscular thigh
shape.
Upper thigh has a rotated pivot joint, and double joint at
knee. Knee cover is separated part. The spike at his calf made of soft material and hinder his knee bend a little. Feet are connected at ball peg and have
decent ball movement. Toes are separated hinged. I just think that the feet are
a little bit too small which make him a little unstable for one leg posing.
Accessories
Now let’s go to the accessories… well… he got berserk head, wings
and hands (huraayyyyy!!!).
Yes, if you already get use to model kit, Robot damashii or revoltech, you might find that many SHF suffer at this department. But if you think again, what does a rider need to destroy his enemy? Nothing more than his Rider Kick! So for me, this condition is acceptable.

Wings
They attached at ball peg at the back so it have nice ball
movement. I consider the wings to be the main part, since the back body looks “peggy”
without them attached.
Optional hands
Three pairs of open hand. I do not know why he does not have
holding hand like others, maybe it because he might do something really naughty
with it.
Berserk Head/Face
Berserk Head/Face
I like how it looks. It makes this guy looks a lot more close to an SIC. I
like this better than his normal head.
Size comparison
Final thought
He is not the most articulated of
all, but could perform what he needs to do very nicely. His appearance is
delightful so I recommend him especially for kamen rider fans.
